Greetings everyone! I am very excited to be a new ACTELA board member! I received my B.A. from the University of Central Arkansas in May of 2002 and took a job in the South Side Bee Branch School District in 2003. Yes, the big-city girl goes country! I teach 7th, 8th and 9th grade Pre-AP and Regular English and occasionally French I and II when it fits into my schedule. I enjoy spending time with my family at home in Damascus, which includes my husband OT and pastor Marcus, and our two mischievous children, Ben and Blair. This past summer I started my Masters in Library and Media. When I do have free time, there’s nothing I’d rather do than read a good book or play board games with friends.
