I have taught English in the Rogers School District for the past fourteen years with classes ranging from seventh grade through college English composition. I currently teach four sections of junior English and two sections of College Composition I and II. My husband, Hank, and I moved to Arkansas from northern Illinois in 1987. Hank is a stained glass artisan who makes custom windows and attends art fairs all over the Midwest. We have one son, Cohen, married to Amy, and two grandchildren, Hank and Maddie Faye. I have been on the board of ACTELA for the past four years and secretary for the past year.
