Linda Arnold holds BSE and MSE degrees from the University of Central Arkansas and a doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She taught English at Conway Junior High and at Greenbrier High School but spent most of her teaching career in the UCA English Department. While at UCA, she taught Methods of Teaching English and supervised teaching interns. Her teaching duties also included World Literature, Language and Grammar Studies, and Middle Level Literature. After retiring from the English Department in 2007, Dr. Arnold became an education consultant, working primarily with the Office of Teacher Quality at the Arkansas Department of Education. She is a Pathwise trainer, a Praxis III Assessor and assessor trainer, and a site facilitator for the Non-Traditional Licensure Program. She has been a member of the ACTELA Executive Committee for over fifteen years and has served as vice-president, president, and ex-officio. She has been ACTELA’s ACC Program Chair and represented ACTELA on the ACC Advisory Committee. |
