I am an assistant professor of English at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). My primary role is English teacher educator, though I also teach world literature, poetry, and grammar studies. I received both BSE and MSE degrees from UCA and a doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I am a Pathwise trainer and a Praxis III assessor. I serve on the advisory committee to the state director of the Teacher Quality Enhancement initiative. My research interests include Irish literature and modern British and American poetry. I enjoy traveling, reading, exercise walking, and cooking.
